Overview
Borneo's ancient rainforests harbor one of the richest avifaunas in Southeast Asia. The island's 59 endemic species include some of the most sought-after birds in the world. Birding here is physically demanding but the rewards are extraordinary: eight species of hornbill, dazzling pittas, and birds found nowhere else on Earth.
